YoungMinds in Schools

The Centre for Therapeutic Storywriting is working in partnership with YoungMinds in Schools on a two year national programme, funded by the DfE, to improve outcomes for children and young people schools.

The YoungMinds in Schools pilot programme includes  the 3-day training in Therapeutic Storywriting Groups and the 3-day training StoryLinks: working with parents of vulnerable pupils.

The YoungMinds in Schools projects runs over the two years up to March 2013. As well as providing training and consultancy  to schools it has developed a comprehensive range of online learning materials to support emotional well being in schools.

YoungMinds in Schools is part of the YoungMinds charity which also provides a helpline for parents and a support network for children and young people.
